My role as a financial coach is one of Coaching, Advocacy, Reassurance and Education. I will also be your accountability partner. Together we will establish realistic financial goals and work on solutions to obstacles we may uncover along the way.
We meet for your 30 minute free consultation. My goal here is to learn about you and your financial concerns. I explain a little about myself, what I do as a financial coach and how we would work together. After our meeting I will send you a formal proposal with my fee schedule.
If you decide that you would like to work with me. I will send you a short questionnaire to fill out and ask that you send it back to me before our meeting. The first meeting we have will be two hours. During this time together we will take a deeper dive into your financial concerns and what you are expecting to accomplish. From this I will construct an action plan to transform the concerns you have into practical short-term and long-term goals.
Part of my role as a coach is to hold you accountable to ensure your success in reaching your goals. We will meet every other week for an hour. If we don’t have a meeting scheduled for that week I will check-in via text, email or phone. You may also reach out to me at any time with any questions you may have.
Depending on your goals and situation, it might be necessary to connect with professionals to help guide you with regards to estate planning, insurance plans (life, medicare, disability, long-term care), tax preparation, and/or comprehensive financial planning. If this is the case, I will provide you with the names of trusted professionals in the area that you would like assistance. In addition, for these meetings, we will prep for the topic being discussed. If you would like, I can also attend the meeting with you as an advocate.
As a financial coach, I will provide you with the skills, discipline and knowledge to take charge of your financial well-being.
